Cloudflare: Add to your web domain

Configuration

  1. Got to Cloudflare and log in or create an account

  2. On the dashboard, locate the Domains section and click the "Add" button in the top-right corner

  3. In the "Boost your site's speed and security" page

    1. Enter the required information

      • Domain name
    2. Choose the option that suits you from the "Block AI training bots" section

  4. On the "Review your DNS records" page, if you are using a subdomain, you’ll need to add the DNS records manually:

    • Click "Add Record"

    • Select "A" as the record type

    • Enter your subdomain prefix in the "Name" field

    • Enter your server’s public IP address in the "IPv4 address" field

    • Click "Save" to apply the changes

  5. Then scroll to the bottom and click the "Continue to activation" button if all is done

  6. Follow the instructions on the "Update your nameservers to activate Cloudflare" page to complete the setup
